Built circa 1922 by the British government for soldiers and sailors who served in the First World War this charming “Soldiers & Sailors” cottage in Dún Laoghaire retains much of its original character. A sympathetic extension constructed using exposed concrete blocks to match existing materials, has successfully expanded the property to provide additional family accommodation while respecting the historical integrity of the original structure.
